This pulling tractor frame is blasted now and will be coated today. removing all of the raw steels, slag coating is very important to a good lasting finish.
This frame builder has done an excellent job. Shown here in our shop floor taking it's place on the blast / prep / coating list. This frame and components will be PBP Starbrite Copper when coated.
These 4ftx4ft heavy 2x2 tube AC stands (6 ft tall & 8 ft tall) used in new construction for this contractor. (Left)shows them coated with Sherwin Williams Matte Black.

Florida, salt damage to Our finish after
coating. In prep, we sanded salt and our
eyes burn and you could smell the ocean in the air after cleaning. Our surface
restoration on salt damaged aluminum parts is proven and now these are new again.
Now this is sweet and coated with a PBP Starbrite Copper finish. This will be reassembled soon now and we will post some final pictures and videos after the February tractor pull in Williamston.
After purge baking, washing and base
treating the parts are media blasted to
remove any and all painted surfaces. Back
to the base metal, then we sand to restore
any oxidation damaged areas and these
parts are ready for the top powder coating
process.
This 350 Chevy block is from a Greenville car builder. After base prep and coating it's ready to go back to Troy Dennis's shop for final assembly. This car will have very detailed parts and should look awesome when finished. This powder is PBP OSA Orange.
This is a tie-bar used on a late model tube chassis car. This is out mirror silver with metallic.
This is a Jr. Dragster weight box. They fill this with lead to slow down the car to meet it's race bracket.
This is a sailboat gear shift mount after 10 or more years of service in brackish or sat water. It is easy to see how salt water damage lifts old coatings and begins to break down around the ends of both parts.
Our process is to remove the damage coating and repair any oxidization damage to the part. After surface repairs are made the parts can be treated and re-coated as shown below.
After repair and re-coating it is easy to see the parts look new again and are ready to bare another 10 years of harsh environment exposure. This is one of the cases where it is cheaper to repair than to replace. We repair a lot of marine items just like these.
This is surface damage from either a weak factory coating or finish. Salt gets into the finish and eats through to the base metal causing small blisters under the factory coating. These can be repaired but it takes stripping to repair the base metal and re-coating to replace the finish.
These are the same wheels as shown above. These
are Hummer wheels with a new finish. We masked
the uncoated areas and coated the wheel to this customers choice which was our Wet Black finish. They are complete and ready for the tires & truck.
This is a 90 year old steel frame bed with steel wheels, It came to us with the original finish which was an old lead base paint which was chipped and cracked up. We stripped it and recoated it with a Sherwin Williams Teal color.
A pair of scooter wheels shown top the original finish. This customer wanted to kick up the look so here we go with a PBP Chrome.
Now this is NIC Wilder Red with PBP Patented Chrome and a top clear coat finish. After all the work it is worth it.
These are parts with a Chrome and Clear top coat finish, below is the frame with mirror metallic finish.

From this in the raw to this which shows this customers imagination. This is our wet black over chrome and clear coat to make the inner pipes stand out. This part came out very nice, can't wait to see the entire engine and bed photo's.
Now this is a project started some time ago but now is complete. This is an original 1944 pedal toy Massy Harris toy tractor. We coated all the inside moving parts wet black, seat & stearing wheel textured Black and the wheels Caution Yellow.
The main frame was treated from imbedded casting oils, Candy Red over Chrome powder gave this a sharp look.
