- COATING NEW OR USED -
Our process is to burn off surface oils in a burn off oven for 1 hr. We move them after cooling and into the media blast area. After blasting, pipes or headers are wiped & blown off and coated with a ceramic coating of your choice. Baked on @ 750 degs for 2 hrs completes the process.
Most light pits and sanding scratches are removed during blasting and even more after coating, remember we are not magicians and work with what you bring us but they do always look 100% better.
Ceramic manufacturers application test reports that if problems do not show themselves in 10 hours, they are good to go for years and years of service.
We are currently looking into vibratory cleaners and polishing stations and are looking forward to bringing them online.
Ceramic coatings increase the motors HP by removing engine bed heat x 15 degs and increase exhaust flow x 3 %.
Ceramic coatings increase header and exhaust components life time by shielding from burn through and rusting.
Intake manifolds coated with Ceramics offer added HP by allowing gas to not vaporize from engine heat. Non coated intakes vaporize a certain percent of injected fuel due to heated fuel hitting a 200 deg's intake.
